"I started hunting in 1962 with my Dad for deer. I also hunted small game (pheasant, duck, squirrel) with high school friends. I continued hunting yearly until 1968 when I entered the U.S. Army. |
In 1974 I shot my first turkey in South Dakota. I have been hunting ducks, pheasant, deer and turkey ever since. I have also enjoyed fishing since the age of 5, but hunting is my true passion. To date I have shot 71 wild turkey’s in 14 different states. |
I really enjoy spending time outdoors. It is my escape from the everyday world. It has been said that some people hunt to live – I live to hunt. I enjoy taking kids on youth waterfowl hunts and am proud to say that, in addition to numerous adults, I helped my Grandson get his first turkey. |
